At Arden, we understand the process of building a new home can be difficult to navigate. One of the easiest ways to eliminate concerns is to understand what will happen when and how.

 

If you’ve chosen to embark on your home building journey with us, this is what the sales process will look like:

 

  1. Commence your new home journey and select a home design

In the first step of your new home journey, an Arden New Home Consultant will give you a detailed tour of our homes, explaining to you their numerous features, inclusions and design benefits.

 

At this time, we will prepare a preliminary siting of your chosen design on your block of land and discuss with you any modifications required to suit your block dimensions or to maximise your solar orientation.

 

Your Arden New Home Consultant will discuss your allocated budget and prepare an initial quote.

 

  1. Secure current pricing and promotions and deposit payment

A non-refundable initial deposit is required to secure the current base price, any promotional offers and to commence the initial stages of your new home design. You will also select your façade at this time.

 

The initial deposit amount is $1,500 for all homes including untitled land, titled land and knockdown rebuild.

 

  1. Introduction to Design Lab

Your Arden New Home Consultant will book you in for your Design Lab introduction appointment, held on Saturdays at our Berwick Head Office, where you will have a one-hour tour of our selection centre and discover how the colour selection appointment works.

 

  1. Preparing your finances and finance health check

A preliminary finance health-check will be required at this point. Our finance partner, Loan Studio, will conduct a simple finance qualification with you. Alternatively, you may provide a finance pre-approval from your nominated lender.

 

  1. Design personalisation and Smart Design Solutions appointment

Your Arden New Home Consultant will work in consultation with you to personalise your new home design. Across all our ranges, you may select from our Smart Design Solutions,
or discuss an alternate design personalisation option with your Arden New Home Consultant.

 

  1. Preliminary site assessment and design review panel

A preliminary assessment of your chosen house design and façade will be conducted by our Design Review Panel. They will assess the siting of the home on your block of land and will evaluate the council and/or developer requirements, using the information available at the time, to highlight any potential considerations for your home design and siting.

 

  1. Finalising your preliminary quotation

The next appointment is with your New Home Consultant to complete your Preliminary Paperwork, which will include your Preliminary Quotation, home design concept sketch, and completed finance health check.

 

To secure your quoted price, this appointment must be completed within 60 days
of your initial deposit for standard plans, Smart Design Solutions, alternate design personalisation options and knockdown rebuild projects.
