16-06-2022

Looking for inspiration and the latest interior design trends? Look no further than an Arden display home.

Carefully curated by our expert styling team, our homes perfectly blend form and function, creating a timeless style that will never go out of fashion.

Today we’re sharing the design tips and advice behind our new Verona 40 and Milan 29 designs that are on display at the Redstone Estate, Sunbury. Our design team has shared the finishes and final styling touches that make these homes so desirable.

Verona 40

Style: Sophisticated Texture

The Sophisticated Texture look uses rich layers of colour and texture to create a polished warmth and depth which invites you into the space. The monochromatic interior colour palette is eye-catching when contrasted with warmer neutrals and timber features. Spacious and sun-drenched, this style combines form and function to deliver an alluring aesthetic.

Tips to recreate this look:

  • Add further interest and detail to the home’s neutral colour palette by accessorising with navy, pinks and reds.
  • Create a sense of openness and spaciousness by using luxurious, low profile furniture.
  • The natural grasscloth wallpaper in the master bedroom has a soft, metallic sheen which playfully complements the upholstered bedhead.
  • Warmth and softness are added to the kitchen using the Polytec ‘Maison Oak’ timber grain kitchen joinery and small finger tile mosaics.
  • The hero of the kitchen is our Caesarstone Organic White benchtops and island, with additional height added to both to create a standout feature.
  • Black accents used for the window frames, tapware, feature lighting, furniture and accessories create a bold and striking contrast against neutrals throughout the home.
  • Incorporate a textured rug to the living area to add definition and contrast against the grey floor tiles.

Milan 29

Style: Modern Classic

The Modern Classic aesthetic is the perfect blend of modern and traditional. Featuring sleek, simple, contemporary lines paired with softer, warmer materials – this design is appealing and elegant. The home is bright and white, with warmth and pattern – creating a timeless style that boldly states ‘style and luxury’.

Tips to recreate this look:

  • Use neutral tones throughout the home, including in the limewashed European Oak timber flooring, create spaciousness and room to play with bolder colours and accessories.
  • Create a playful contrast through brightly coloured decorative patterns and textures in both your furnishings and artwork.
  • Consider using natural materials of different textures to create a depth and warmth to your space – think washed linens, boucle, terrazzo and timber.
  • Texture is added to the master bedroom through the stunning boucle headboard and  bench seat.
  • Add pops of greenery to your space – indoor plants will complement the warm, natural tones and white walls.
  • Bring the outdoors inside with a luscious sun court to the side of the home which draws the natural light in.
  • Elevate your living and dining experience with full height S-fold sheers to enhance the raised rear ceiling.
  • A mix of tones and textures in the kitchen – through the tiles, cabinetry, shelving and flooring – creates variation and appeal, complemented by the black accents and hardware featured in the kitchen, laundry and pantry.
  • Consider using contemporary living furniture with clean lines alongside classic style dining chairs with black frame and natural weave to complement the home’s Modern Classic style.
  • Add soft lines to your home through ceramics that use soft curved forms, such as handmade vases and sculptural objects.
