It’s always a buzz for our team to hear positive feedback from our clients – and it’s doubly special when they’re prepared to go on the record – or in this case, on video – and talk about their experience building with Arden Homes.

Arden customers Kristy and Simon were seeking a spacious, family friendly home in which to raise their two sons, and the Votivo 43 stood out as the perfect choice, with its generous proportions, opulent details and clever zoning.

They saw their new home as a long-term investment for the family, and opted to build rather than buy an existing home because they liked the idea of being able to really customise each space within their home.

‘Building a home from scratch was the right decision for us, because ultimately we really wanted to have an influence on the design of each space in the house, and to give the kids some different areas to grow up in.’ 

It’s important to us that all our customers feel that we’re truly invested in delivering them a unique home that will truly meet their needs both now and in the future – and when Kristy and Simon were searching for the right builder, flexibility was the name of the game.

‘The ability to customise each space to exactly what we wanted was really important to us – our kids have a big age gap, and we wanted spaces that would work for each as they got older. Arden stood out from the crowd because of the way the team not only accepted changes, but encouraged them. We also needed to be able to position our home on our block a certain way, so we needed to make some customisations to our design, which no other builder was really willing to do.’

Kristy and Simon fell in love with the Votivo display home, and our New Home Consultants were able to walk them through some suggested changes to help them really customise the space.

‘The Sales Consultants were fantastic in helping us choose a home design and then work in the changes required to really make it our own. Being given the flexibility to design our own dream was what made Arden stand out to us.’

The couple confessed to experiencing some nerves once they made it through to the site stage as they’d heard some horror stories from acquaintances who had built before, but Kristy and Simon were impressed with Arden and described the process as ‘smooth and stress-free.’

‘From the first display we visited, right through to the colour selection process and handover, we found the whole team to be amazing – we couldn’t fault any of them!’
